Mmmmm....fish!

There's really not much new to report today. More fishing...we (Tom, Linda, Seth & Maddie) went out to Pike Bay and brought home 21 fish (17 Rock Bass & 4 Perch). More biking...for Tom. More Kayaking...for Linda and Deb. More game-playing, swimming, and just having fun...for all the kids.

I've discovered that 7 teens and/or adults in a cabin go through a large amount of food. I ran to the store this evening for some French fries to go with our fish supper, and asked the kids if they needed anything else from the store. Two minutes later I had a list of 12 items they NEEDED to have.

I've also discovered it's nice to have a daughter-in-law around who doesn't mind helping out. Maddie organized a quick clean-up of the cabin while I ran to the store, and then helped me with supper. After a quick lesson in frying fish, she flipped that fish like a pro. We all enjoyed that melt-in-your-mouth dinner, after which we lazed around the cabin or went back outside to find friends.
