Spending time "onlake"

Thursday, 7/5/18 Today was a pretty chill day. Tom, Leah, Nicole and I spent the morning fishing in Pike Bay. We enjoyed the sights through the channel and the loon that was circling our boat underwater out on the lake. Fishing wasn't too bad, but not great either. We were able to bring home 16 fish: 15 smallish perch and 1 rock bass.

In the afternoon, I visited with Barb and Fred while doing my laundry in their townhouse (it's free there, so why not?). Walking up and down those stairs several times to change the loads was my workout for the day!

In the evening we had brats on the grill for supper and the kids ran off to see a movie (Oceans 8) in Bemidji. Tom and I put in a little internet time at the lodge. We've found the internet here to be slower and slower every year, and it's really hard to accomplish anything online at our cabin. Not such a bad thing, as less time online means more time "onlake." :)
